Join us for relaxed, friendly, informal and effective Business Networking over a cup of coffee/tea and scones at Create café in Wakefield.
Join us for the May networking event in 2018 in the north of England hosted by the Wakefield Council. This is a great chance to meet other like-minded entrepreneurs and professionals.
We aim to help you meet new connections, build new relationships, possibly new customers, peer support, potential suppliers, collaborations and partnerships. We will also have two guest speakers – for more details please see below enclosed agenda.

Kelly Gavin, Business events officer for the Wakefield First portals
A public and private sector organisation responsible for attracting inward investment, supporting trade and raising the profile of the Wakefield district. Sustaining economic growth and job creation with several business support options linked to Wakefield council.
Previously over an 11 year period I was a part of Cambridge News Ltd and Archant working on events sponsorship, competitions, special features and events which then led me to the same role in Radio for the UKRD radio group and Hertfordshires’ Independent radio station.
Pat Coffey, Business Development Manager, Wakefield Council
Pat joined the team in 2013 after 40 years in the commercial world managing and running department stores, shopping centres as well as working in the former Soviet Union opening and managing the first hard currency store in Moscow with a Soviet /Irish joint venture. Pat has run his own retail business and consultancy and joined Business Link in 2007 as a specialist start up advisor.
Pat’s passion is for businesses to seek help and grow. With the help of the City Region the Wakefield business portfolio have increased 3 times as fast as the rest of the region and the district release £1.9m of grant support last year alone.
Pat sits on the City Region grant panel and is responsible for the business support team to deliver high quality account management advice to growth businesses and inward investors.
Mariusz Siwek, Perfect Blinds UK
Currently Head of Sales at Perfect Blinds UK. Over 20 years of sales experience, with over 10 years of managing and developing sales teams in FMCG sector. Passionate about effective marketing and business development and an active member of the UK networking community.
