We have invited experts who will share their knowledge and expertise on marketing plans & tools, brand building, PR efforts and SEO so that you can take some useful tips and implement them in your business to raise its profile and improve your online presence.
The aim of this meeting is not only to provide the audience with helpful information and useful business insight, but also to create a network for entrepreneurial Poles and other nationalities in the UK.
The event will also offer each participant the chance to get to introduce themselves to everyone else, to get to know other entrepreneurs and to swap business cards with each another. Second part of the meetings starts with speed-networking, where participants have 30 seconds to talk about their business. There will also be a moderated session with our guest speakers. If you are interested to attend 10-minutes face-to-face session, please book your slot at the reception. Informal talks will continue over a glass of wine and canapés until 18.45.

Clare-Marie has almost 20 years marketing experience working for successful brands at a senior level, within manufacturing (Hotpoint, Indesit), retail (Mamas & Papas), leisure (Chill Factore) and the charity sector (Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice).
She is extremely passionate about brand, developing the right strategy for your business and creating effective communications. She is results driven and loves the challenge of a new campaign or marketing project.

Ellie MacDonald, MacComms
Set up in April 2015, MacComms is founded and run by West Yorkshire businesswoman Ellie MacDonald who has eight years’ marketing and communications experience.
Recently named in the top four Business Women of the Year, at the Yorkshire Choice Awards, Ellie has grown her business to a team four in just under two years.
Ellie was also recently successful in landing a place on Natwest’s Entrepreneurial Spark programme, the largest business growth accelerator in the world. As part of the programme, Ellie has been awarded Chiclet’s Choice by her fellow business peers, who recognised her willingness to collaborate and support other entrepreneurs.
Prior to establishing the business, Ellie worked for faith PR, one of the fastest growing marketing and PR agencies in West Yorkshire, where she worked as account manager, responsible for managing around a dozen accounts at any one time to enhance the profile and promotion of a range of businesses.
Previous to this, Ellie worked for the Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce where she spent two years as marketing manager. Responsible for delivering the Chamber’s marketing and communications strategy, Ellie took an active role in implementing an active schedule of PR and communications.
Before her role at the Chamber, Ellie worked for the award-winning Community Interest Company Yorkshire Energy Services, beginning on the contract to deliver the national Energy Saving Trust locally through the advice centre for South and West Yorkshire. During her role as marketing executive, Ellie drove a successful PR strategy achieving record success to reach 12+ million people across the region through media coverage.
She also boasts strong event management experience having project managed a leading conference, exhibition and awards ceremony attended by more than 200 people. The event created the organisation vast publicity and profits, as well as developing strong negotiation skills to secure low costs and gain sponsorship.
As senior marketing executive for Yorkshire Energy Services, Ellie went on to become responsible for marketing a number of council-backed insulation schemes, Wrap Up Leeds, Insulate Hampshire and Kirklees Warm Zone. The successful schemes relied heavily on a holistic marketing programme of targeted direct mail, county/borough wide advertising on bus backs and radio with supportive local press and broadcast coverage, social media management, community events, with online and door to door assessments conducted.
