About Congress

What’s the difference between owning a business that brings in enough money to pay your monthly bills and one that’s structured to grow and grow? It lies with your mindset. The companies that changed the world, from Ford to Google, from Standard Oil to Apple had one thing in common – they were driven by people who thought big and had a can-do attitude. The vision to understand the universal needs that make people want – need – to buy your product or service. Whether you are developing a new app or baking bread, the way you define the size of your of potential market is critical to your growth strategy – and how fast you plan to get there.

START – SCALE – SALE

Since 2014 Polish Business Link became facilitator of the Congress of Polish entrepreneurs in London attracting in excess of 200 business people. The 3rd Polish Entrepreneurs’ Congress will focus on business growth – how to speed it up, how to finance it, how to overcome the obstacles in the way – but above all how to plan for size. Is your market merely local? Can it be regional, national or international? Is your market a niche? How can your broaden it to more of a mass market? Who are your real competitors – are they scaling up as effectively as they could? Speakers will cover these points, based on real-life case studies from entrepreneurs who are doing it, who are effectively turning start-ups into businesses with the potential to be big.

BREXIT

Brexit will create new challenges for businesses in the UK. New opportunities will open up as others – such as EU funds for collaborative R&D – close. Polish entrepreneurs in the UK are renowned for their drive and determination – armed with the right know-how and benefiting from examples of best practice learned in the UK market, they will undoubtedly find new ways of growing their businesses and contributing to the UK’s economy.
